Level 2 is also divided into Black and Gold, with age being the most dominant factor of division.
These groups train 3-4 times a week for a total of 6-7 hours and are introduced to some dryland training. Swimmers will focus on improving their kick level, endurance, technique in all 4 strokes, turns, dives and streamlines.
Kids are encouraged to be overall good swimmers in all 4 strokes, as well as distance events, in order to develop a strong base for the future. Level 2 swimmers are expected to move up to level 3 with several Regional qualifications and/or Festival prerequisites.
