Next time you are at a City Recreation Centre look for the Pace Clock. The Hamilton Aquatic Club purchased Pace Clocks for every Pool in the City over the last 30 years. That is just one example of our Club's generosity and leadership in the community thanks to the Swim-A-Thon.
Once again, our club will be fundraising using Swim Canada’s online fundraising process. This allows us to raise money quickly and easily from just a few clicks on any device. This year, our goal is to raise $10,000! Funds raised will be directed towards new equipment for the pools we use in addition to replacing timing and starting equipment for meets. With your help, we know we can achieve our goal.
Our Swim-A-Thon will involve all swimmers and it will be held on Saturday, March 24th, 2018 (6:30 am – 9am) at the McMaster University Pool. Swimmers will be swimming from 6:30 am to 8:30 am with a team breakfast snack to follow. We encourage parents to go online and assist your swimmer with the registration. The family affidavit is part of the online swimmer registration. Swimming Canada will not be issuing tax receipts this year.
Please go to our club link www.ontarioswimathon.ca/h
This will also be a volunteer point opportunity for parent and guardians. We need lap counters for swimmers. As well, we need a few volunteers to help prepare food for a breakfast for all those hungry swimmers. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer for the positions.
Please show your support, help us provide the best resources, coaching and programs that we can by helping to raise these valuable dollars that will support our swimming program.
If you have any questions please contact us at email@example.com.
Registration with $50 minimum raised = New Limited Edition HAC Shirt

In addition, for each $50 raised, the swimmer’s name is put in a draw. The winner of that draw will get a $500 discount for next year’s swim fees.
