CANUSA weekend is August 10-12, 2018
North America’s Largest and Longest Running International Games.
For 61 years the CANUSA Games has provided the youth of our area an opportunity to take part in an international friendship Games between Hamilton, Ontario and Flint, Michigan, USA. The Games is an Olympic style competition that began in 1958 with only 200 athletes competing in 7 sport areas. From these meagre beginnings, the CANUSA spirit caught on and continues today. CANUSA currently brings together over 1400 athletes to participate in the friendly rivalry in 16 sports. The CANUSA Hamilton webpage can be located here.

CANUSA Swimming Records
CANUSA Swimming has been held at various venues across its 61 years, switching from metre competitions held at McMaster University pool in the early years, to yard competitions at historic Jimmy Thompson Pool (to match the standard format of most US swimmers), and then more recently (due to ongoing renovations at Jimmy T Pool) back to a metre venue held at Westmount Rec Centre. Across the years there have been many records set and broke, and this year is not different, with the expectation of many new SCM records to be set/broken.
